About the event
A gentle, reflective workshop looking at how we can write using the season as inspiration.
At the darkest time of the year, the natural world turns inward. Trees become bare, animals retreat, seeds lie dormant beneath the soil.
Through writing inspired by the winter solstice, nature, ancient traditions and Christmas, we'll explore what darkness and light can mean in our own stories. We’ll be considering darkness as a creative space - a place of stories, memories, dreams and possibilities.
For us, winter can feel like a time when we ourselves turn inward, and take a seasonal pause. We can use this time to reflect, remember, let go, and gather ourselves.
